When using the OmicSoft Studio Mac app, sometimes the error messages will be slightly different from the standard connection error messages. 
For example, "Unknown error (0x2af9)" generally means that the server name is unknown.

Most often, this can occur when you are trying to connect to an Company-internal server, but forgot to connect to VPN.

Check your connection settings to confirm that you can reach internal network assets, then try again.
