RESTART (Update:TRUE|FALSE) (UseDEV:TRUE|FALSE) (UseDEV2:TRUE|FALSE) (UseDEV3:TRUE|FALSE)

Later parameters are optional.

Confirm that you want to restart the server, then log off and wait until the server is rebooted.

Example Usage

Restart using the main DEV branch

RESTART TRUE TRUE

Restart using DEV3

RESTART TRUE FALSE FALSE TRUE

Note: Later flags for DEV version take precedence over earlier flags,

e.g.

RESTART TRUE TRUE TRUE TRUE

will still update with DEV3.

Log output

In the ArrayServer installation directory, two files will contain any logging information (and error messages) during the update/boot-up process.

ServerRestarter.log will contain details of the updating process (output from ServerRestarter.exe):

  • Which ArrayServer job was killed
  • Command-line arguments passed
  • Which development branch (PROD, DEV, DEV2, DEV3) is being updated
  • Any updated files

run.log will contain details of the ArrayServer boot-up process (the standard output from ArrayServerLinuxBeta.exe)
