Blueprint Lands

BLUEPRINT focuses on epigenetic maps of distinct types of haematopoietic cells from healthy individuals and on their malignant leukaemic counterparts. The data help to study those cells to advance and exploit knowledge of the underlying biological processes and mechanisms in health and disease.

According to BLUEPRINT, “This resource-generating activity will be complemented by research into blood-based diseases, including common leukaemias and autoimmune disease (Type 1 Diabetes), by discovery and validation of epigenetic markers for diagnostic use and by epigenetic target identification. This may eventually lead to the development of novel and more individualised medical treatments."

CellType: Blueprint focus on cell types and diseases of the Haematopoietic System. ( See Blueprint Cell Types for details)

Tumor or Normal: indicates whether a sample is from tumor sample for normal sample. Currently, there are 8 tumor samples by 2016 Q1 release.
